Heart palpitations and shivering
Hi doctor, When I have to talk in a group of people, when I'm angry or sad, my heart beats fast, I start shivering and I feel heavy in my throat. I work in IT and I have to speak in virtual  meetings everyday. Though no ones is watching me, every time I fail to speak atleast one sentence correctly. I'm losing my confidence and I'm worried whether I can grow in my career. Is there a treatment for this and what kind of treatment?

Hi, It's great that you're reaching out for support. Fear of public speaking is a common form of anxiety. It can be treated in a way where you will learn to replace your messages of fear with more positive self talk. And you will also learn some relaxation techniques, by doing this gradually you will confront your fear in a safe environment.
Next Steps
You can see a Clinical Psychologist, have an assessment for the severity of your anxiety symptoms. And then you can continue with therapy. And this issue can be treated from the root cause.
