Biopsy from left EAC.polyp shows hyperplastic stratified squamous epithelium lining tissue fragments.Subepithelium shows moderate mononuclear infitrate.No evidence of dysplasia/ malignancy in the sections examined.

It means that biopsy for polyp is nothing to worry about and it is a simple epithelial polyp which commonly occur in external canal of ear and most of the times occur secondary to trauma to the external ear by usage of ear buds.

Next Steps

If you have already taken treatment in the form of excision of polyp, then there is no need for further treatment
