Does neck xray c spine show cartoid arteries if there is any tear in it because i was having neckpain in the cartoid artery region doctor suggested me neck xray can it show about cartoidarteries

Carotid artery is a soft tissue and it cannot be seen in x-rays. Carotid artery assessment can happen with CT or sonography Doppler. Carotid artery tear pain is excruciating and an emergency which will not let you sit even for minutes so need not worry since this is more like a musculoskeletal pain let us evaluate with x-ray.
