I landed from a 5 hour flight with a horrible head ache that did not disappear after landing. The pain stayed for a day and I noticed today even though the pain is not as bad as it was, there was blood while spitting out the mucus. I have a strong feeling this is related with my allergy and air pressure.. but I need to know what treatment and medicine should i take
Also how can I avoid this on my next flight

Use a pair of silicone ear plugs for the entire duration of the flight. Have frequent sips of hot fluids(water/tea/coffee/soups) throughout the flight.
