Hi.Im female 26years old..I've been having headache and back pain,neck pain..I went to the doctor and ask me checked thyroid tsh is normal but T3and T4 low..what happen?

Thanks for your query Since the pituitary gland would normally release TSH if the T4 is low, a high TSH level would confirm that the thyroid gland (not the pituitary gland) is responsible for the hypothyroidism. If the T4 level is low and TSH is not elevated, the pituitary gland is more likely to be the cause for the hypothyroidism. Please consult a endocrinologist.
