Head injury
Hello Mam I am also from medical industry, biomedical application Engineer in Opthalmic surgical industry. Around 7 years back, I got a head injury and there were 6 stiches. I didn't consulted neurologist, just got treated from nursing home. Sometimes I feel pain in stiches, is it normal due to season change or shall I go for CT.. Wound heal by scar formation. Severed nerves may give scar tenderness or abnormal sensation. This is mainly a problem of skin rather than brain. CT won't help. Consult nearby neurosurgeon. It can managed by medication or by local application of gabapentin. If not relived u can go for local site injection
