Since today, I've been experiencing a headache that initially felt like pain in my forehead, but later changed to a feeling that my whole head, especially the scalp area is full, as if it's inflated like a balloon and about to burst. The pain is mostly on the right side, although I also feel some fullness on the left.
I do not have a fever. I am sensitive to bright lights and loud noises, and I usually start feeling better if I switch off the lights, stay in a quiet room, and rest. The episodes also don't seem to last very long when I do this.
I think I've experienced a similar type of headache before, although I can't remember exactly when or how often it has happened.
Could this be a migraine, or could it be due to another condition? Should I get examined in person or undergo any tests?
Thank you.
