My wife is having cough for 5-6 days, we got her to the doctor and the doctor gave EXPOTUS D and COREST D but it didn't worked well for cough and she is still coughing. please suggest ang good and effective medicine for cough

cipla's Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup
1 teaspoon
Have it 3 times a day in regularly 6 hours.
Capsule amoxiclav 625mg once day for 3 days
