Hard swollen occipital node
I have an swollen hard right side occipital node ( 1.5cm dia) from 1.5 years (my parents telling it is from past 20 years) but now i m feeling that its increasing in size. my questions are as follows: 1) can permanent swollen occipital node can cause cancereous in future 2) can cancerous nodes shrink and swollen again? 3) how much time required to increase the size for cancerous node ( rate of size increase). i was consulted the doctor, he told nothing to worry but I am s panic please help me.

Nothing to worry, it can be normal also, may be due to infection just observe if it increases in size meet a surgeon .
