Hard stool and piles

I had been suffering from chicken pox and was advised to take the following medicines for a week 1. Valacyclovir 2. dazit 3. Pantoprazole 4. Zifi 5. hifenac The medicines worked well and I am recovering. However my stool has become really hard and I have developed hemorroids. I had never had it before and there are no dietary changes. Please advise I am

Avoid spicy food • plenty of fibres Plenty of hydration • 40 minutes brisk walk everyday • Avoid constipation • avoid straining while passing stools • put 5 ml of betadine in a tub of warm water(not hot water) and sit in the tub for 5 minutes morning, 5 minutes in afternoon, 5 minutes in the night_this is termed as SITZ BATH
