Hi. Greetings. Are you a diabetic??? I guess you have been ill informed or partially informed. Insulin as such has no effect on growth of hair or balding. However newer studies have suggested some role between insulin resistance and androgenetic alopecia. However, kindly see a dermatologist in your city to examine and discuss your hair issues. Hope this helps. Warm regards. Dr Govind S Mittal, Excel care hospital, Bangalore.
