Hairloss. Mesotherapy with dutasteride.

Hi doctor, I'm in grade 4 of my hairloss. I have skin allergy to alcohol based minoxidil and less sexual ability after taking dht suppressor. Because of this I couldn't do anything about my hairloss. I want to undergo mesotherapy with dutasteride. As that is the only option left for me to save my remaining hair. But I couldn't find any doctors who are ready to do it in chennai. Is it safe to micro needle the dutasteride capsule, as I'm only accessible to that. Please do advice.

Hi. Greetings. I would not advise you to do it by yourself at home. Dutasteride availability in mesosolution should improve soon. Trial of non alcohol based minoxidil can be considered after checking with your dermatologist. Many of our patients can tolerate the same well. Even plain topical finasteride application without minoxidil can be an option (these need to be prescribed by your dermatologist) .
