Hairline fracture
Hello, I had hair line fracture in my left ankle back in 2010 but it still pains if i walk too much, mostly in winters it pains a lot, i have to use crape bandage most of the time. Even i am not allowed to wear heels because my ankle hurts a lot. So can anyone recommend me what should i do to get rid of my ankle pain.

Thanks for posting the query. The hairline fracture would have healed longtime back. The pain that you are getting is due to small amount of instability of the ankle. This will be due to injury or damage to the ligaments of the ankle at the time of injury. Some tears of ligaments do not heal, this might be the case with your ankle. You will need to get an MRI Scan of your ankle to see for ligament damage. After that further treatment can be planned.
