Hairfall and dandruff
I have been suffering from hairfall and dandruff from few months and it has increased more from last month. Dandruff has been turned like flake and its all over my head. And whenever i even put my hand on my head atleast 4-5 hair falls from my head. when i wash my hair it increases more. I can't even put oil on my hair because it increases the hair fall. I can even see my scalp in some places. And the dandruff has increased the itchiness and turned my scalp oily.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
