yes seborrheic dermatitis can present like that. You can use Salisia KT lotion as shampoo for now. But you need to get your scalp properly examined to know whether the excessive flaking is because of seborrheic dermatitis or an inflammatory condition like psoriasis. take tab levociz 5 mg twice a day for the time being to temporarily improve the itching. However this is not the definitive treatment you will have to visit a qualified dermatologist to get the condition properly assessed. or you can send images online through private online consult for a better assessment of the problem Hope this was helpful.
