I have taken diane 35 for 1 yr for acne caused by pcod..my periods have always been consistent..all my hormones and thyroid sugar insulin were normal..just polycystic ovaries in ultrasound..after leaving it few of my acne came back..i left diane for 3 mnths..i m a virgin..and planing to get married this year..for how long can i tke diane if i dont face any side effects..

I usually don't give Diane 35 in normal hormonal profile. It doesn't offer a permanent cure for acne. Just like in your case, symptoms recur once u stop it.
