1)Double marker is done between 8-12 weeks of pregnancy. It detects chromosomal abnormalities.
2)TORCH test detects various infections like HIV, Rubella, herpes simplex, etc. If mother has infection it can be passed to baby in womb.

For this test Sonography and blood test has to be done simultaneously.
