My gums are really discoloured and receeding and I’ve had tonsillitis recently the back of my throat doesn’t look healthy at all. I am also coughing up bloody mucus, my mouth and gums do not look healthy at all but I don’t know weather to be very worried or not.

In very rare cases, tonsillitis can cause your tonsils to bleed. This is more likely with certain viruses that cause ulcers or sores on the tonsils. Online QnA won’t help at all in your condition. You must consult an ENT specialist & a Dentist as soon as possible. Proper diagnosis with certain lab tests are necessary. Avoid smoking, chewing tobacco, eating spicy & hot food. Receding gums are signs of periodontitis which is usually a calculus formation between teeth and gums that results in bone loss of the area. This can be clinically treated.
