Growth deficiency,short stature
All my life I've been a small kid who looks too young for age ,my family members are genetically late bloomers who hit puberty at late age ... So do I .I looked too young for my age until .I started seeing signs of puberty at late 16 and begun my growth spurt at the age 17 at which I was already 5'.2" so I grew around three inches at age 17 to 18 during growth spurt and stood at 5.5" . And then all of a sudden my growth stunned i didn't grow after 18, being a late bloomer and stopping growth only after 2 years of puberty doesn't seems to be right . My  own elder brother who had same pubertal history completed growth at 19 and now standing at 5.10". I am so depressed and insecure of my height and appearance. I'm 20 right now but look like 16. Being late bloomer i guess my growth plates are still open. can I under go growth hormone therapy or do anything about my small stature .

you are not called short .... being 5.5 is a good height... before stating about growth hormone therapy.. it works only with hormone deficiency... and if it is deficient.. you would have not grown 5.5 Check thyroid functions----> need to know your family height... and decide.... any treatment
