Granulation in posterior pharyngeal
Hi doc, since I have been suffering throat infection for more the 4 weeks , i made an appointment for ENT , prescribed me with 1 week antibiotic, but the granulation in posterior pharyngeal is not reducing , i quit smoking a couple of months back, do I continue with home remedies. I have only some sore throat in every morning , no other symtoms.

It is common to see granular pharyngitis for few months after quitting smoking. Early morning throat pain may be symptom of nicotine withdrawal and usually antibiotics are not very useful. You can do salt water gargling, take over the counter analgesics and vitamin c tablets for faster recovery
