Got paralysis attack
My mother in law got paralysis attack yesterday on 20 Nov,  And now her full left side is not working. She is heart patient and had heart valve replacement surgery 9 years ago.. What are the chances of recovery and will left side start working again normally .. How much time it will take?

Recovery is possible but difficult to predict the duration.what kind of valve surgery she had! Is she taking blood thinning agents.

It is difficult to predict. Most of the patient have a recovery either partial or complete over time...how many weeks or months is difficult to say... depend on extent of brain stroke...and day to day improvement
