Gluteal muscle strain
While doing front splits, my wife heard a pop on her right hip. There was a small red mark initially which has since turned into a faded dark spot. Applied Voveron. Current symptoms 1) experiencing stiffness in right hip (cannot touch toes which was easily possible earlier); 2) shifting pain sometimes on the hip sometimes on the lower back. Pain is not much and does not hamper either walking or daily activities. But it's been there now for more than a week and she feels a dull ache and discomfort.
