Giving meftal p syrup after 3 hrs.dolo
Hello,
My 10yr old son has got throat infect and fever 102.7. He is 28kg and doctor asked to give dolo 650 half every 6 hrs. I would like to know if it's ok to give meftal p syrup 10 ml after 3 to 4 hrs of giving dolo tablet. As his fever takes 1 hr to subside and come back in 3 hrs. Plz help

I think it's better you give Tab Paracetamol 500 mg instead of 650 mg .. but giving Meftal P syrup intermittently is safe

Apart from this, a lot of more details will be needed.
Child clearly has a viral/bacterial infection. Can be a strep throat infection also.
Next Steps
Take a videoconsultation and medicines will help. If no improvement with correct medicines for 3 days, will do tests.
