Dear sir/madam,
I am just thinking to marry a girl which is in blood relation but a distant one. She is daughter of my father's cousin (cousin- my father uncle's daughter). It is relation in 3rd generation. Is it safe to marry in the respect of consanguinity and problems related to it on future kids as stated in some of internet forums. We both don't have any hereditary problem or serious illness.
Request your genuine expert opinion since it is been stated in some internet forums but i dont observe any problem in closer relation than my case.

You can go for genetic counselling, wherein some tests may be needed to make sure.
There are chances of birth defects in the babies, but 'how much' can only be told after tests
