My cousin has been diagnosed with leber hereditary optic neuropathy.

I am 31. Do you recommend I go to my dr to for tests also? (I do not have any sympotoms)

it's a autosomal dominant and x linked recessive disease inherited from mother .the symptoms begin to appear in teenage.and established upto 3rd decade.your chances of being affected are rare. however please get your eyes testing done by an ophthalmologist nearby.
