Genetic disorders
I'm pregnant now. My husband is Color Blind and he also has Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweaty palms and hands) by birth. Is there chances of my baby inheriting these two disorders? Is there any way to diagnose both? Also he has taken Steroid for a period of one year. Will that affect my baby?

Hello, to be simple (provided your are not carrier of gene - your family history confirms) defective gene will be on x chromosome of your husband. If you have male child it won't be colour blind,,but if you have female child then they all will be carriers of defective gene (no need to be testing - it's expected) and they also won't be colour blind (another normal x chromosome they received from you will protect them) ,, but their male child (your grand son) will be affected. Don't worry him taking steroid will not affect baby.
