Hi my bub in 2.5 months old and is having gastroenteritis with no dehydration. He is passing mucus filled stools (sometimes with small red mucuses) Doc prescribed ORS and Vizilac dt for 5 days. When can I see the results. Its the first day today . m super tensed.

The photo of stools is normal stools in this age group. Babies at this age, pass small amount of yellow green stools with small particles like , as seen in the photo. This is normally seem in breast feeding babies. They pass small amounts frequently.
If baby is active, playful and taking feeds well , sleeping well. Not to worry. No medicines needed
