Gas blotting and piles
All the time my stomach feels heavy. I suffer from constipation every day, and my digestion has been causing problems for a long time. My stomach always feels bloated and uncomfortable. It often feels hot or irritated inside, and I frequently burp after eating. My bowel movements are hard, and I have to strain during bowel movements. Recently, I was diagnosed with Grade II piles, which I believe may be related to my chronic constipation. I work as a service engineer, so eating outside is unavoidable because of my job, making it difficult to maintain a healthy diet. Please advise me on the possible cause of these symptoms and suggest the best treatment, dietary changes, and lifestyle modifications to improve my digestion, relieve constipation, reduce bloating, and help manage my piles.

The most likely cause is IBS-C/Chronic Constipation. But before reaching this conclusion, the red flag signs should be excluded like Old age, change in bowel habit recently, weight loss, anaemia, symptoms at night. And its important to know about the duration of symptoms. If you are young (3L per day) and lifestyle changes( regular exercise, Not straining while defecation, not deferring the urge to defecate). If symptoms not improved or you are older than 40 years or with red flag signs, you should consult a gastroenterologist

Your symptoms are most likely due to chronic constipation, which can also worsen piles. Improving your bowel habits with a high-fiber diet, adequate water intake, and regular exercise can provide significant relief. If symptoms persist or worsen, a consultation is recommended to identify the exact cause and start appropriate treatment.
