My baby is 15days old. Birthweight 2.8kg, bilirubin 5.7, TSH 3.4.
She feeds every 2-3hours. But at night gap becomes 5hours at one time. I try to stay awake but somehow I fall asleep and gap gets 5hours during one feed. Is it harmful if this gap happens once a day?

3 things to look out for:
1️⃣ Weight gain: if the child is gaining weight by 300 to 400gm in 2 weeks
2️⃣ Urine frequency: daily you can check for urine frequency, if it is above 8 times in 24 hours
3️⃣ Child is active and not irritable or lethargic
If none of the issues are there, then need not to worry.
It is okay if the child misses one feed and is normal otherwise.

What I suggest for parents and grandparents is 'shared responsibility ', a term coined by me, jokes apart, I mean to say, you try to stay awake in the first half of the night, then express your breast milk in a sterilized container and feed the baby with the help of another caregiver in the second part of the night. This would reduce your tiredness.
Next Steps
remember, if you remain stressed, milk production might decrease, ask for help and ensure atleast 2times night feeds.
