My grandfather is a 76 year old man. A 12.00mm calculus is seen in lumen of gall bladder has been detected in his USG report. However there is no symptom as such is evident from outside.

Hi, asymptomatic gall bladder stone need not to be removed.  However if patient is DIABETIC then one can go ahead with the surgery.
Next Steps
avoid fried/ spicy  food.
