In July 2023 during a regular health checkup we came to know that my wife had a gallbladder stone size 1 cm . She didn't have any pain till now, do we need to operate her and remove stone if no pain exists.

However if there are any symptoms of pain in the upper abdomen, burning sensation after consumption of food , indigestion, or she is a diabetic then she would require further evaluation and surgery.
