The stasis in the region of the area between the umbilicus and the diaphragm …. the area of supply of the energy in area of the Manipur chakra …..is the real reason behind the gall stone formation and also in a larger perspective is responsible for low energy states as a whole in the body eg snoring during sleeping!
It’s a relative matter of some urgency as far as a routine cholecystectomy is concerned if it’s just for stone removal from the gall bladder for a routine cholecystectomy.
Next Steps
Get a high definition ultrasound examination of the whole abdomen done esp focusing at the upper abdomen details of the gall bladder wall , lumen , and pericholecytic fluid etc ,
Get CA 125 and other tumor markers to rule out the possibility of CA Gall Bladder in the 64 yr old mother.
Get all routine investigations CBC , CRP , LFT ,KFT PT AND INR , RE urine and urine for Culture and Sensitivity done .
Apart from FBG , PPBG , HBA1C etc An X-ray chest PA view is imp to get done .
Sleep apnoea tests and the degree of it and the appliances used for that are imp advances in medicine today.
Kindly consult a sleep specialist for it to care and advice for that.as this is a planned surgery and not an emergency situation
Health Tips
Start yogic practices to improve the general energy levels in the body ,, generally older people are neglected at home and develop loneliness as the younger lot are advanced but we should keep our older generation preserved loving and caring them spending useful relaxing time sharing older memories with them … as they get engaged they feel better and better improving their energy levels as a whole and in the area of the Manipur chakra too!
Practice antarmouna, anulom/ vilom or ekantar shwasan , yogic shwasan and naadi shodhan pranayam , also jal neti and surya namaskar for her at her level !
Also bhramari pranayam for a few weeks prior to surgery and to be. continued during and after .
If you do this probably only simple corrections of the sleep apnoe would be reqd post op after s lap cholecystectomy
You can consult me anytime if you need further help with prior appointment
