Do I have to go to a school that offers pre-med as a major if I want to be a doctor? Or can I go to a school and just major and biology and still be able to make it as a doctor in medical school?

Hey.. To be a Doctor, you first need to know your basic subjects which are biology zoology physics and chemistry. Maths is optional. So look for schools that give you these subjects. After you are done with these you’ll be writing entrances for medical schools based on these subjects for which might have to take some coaching for orientation. The entrances will be MCQ based and May or May not have negative marking. Your pre also depends on which entrance you want to write .you have to decide whether you want to do it in India or US or UK etc because the preparation has to be done accordingly and also because they have different patterns of questioning. Please plan out well as to how and where you want to pursue medicine.
