giddiness or dizziness is often vaguely used and needs to described in detail. you need to tell if you feel sudden weakness and blackout of surroundings or its spinning of surroundings around you. once genuine nature of giddiness or vertigo is confirmed then it needs proper evaluation to come to final diagnosis and accordingly it can be treated if you feel blackouts after change of position from supine to sitting or sitting to standing then its known as positional hypotension and its mainly due to any anti hypertensive medicines you are taking. it can be treated by changing medicines or avoiding sudden change of causative positions kindly consult nearby ENT specialist or use private chat with detailed history
