Forgetting, doubting
My dad was an engineer from B.E sibpore, Kolkata, settled in Andhra pradesh for the last 30+ years, retired by 2015. Since then he forgets things, moments. He have also started doubting his family, Simple calculations he isn't understanding. Few requested for brain scan but since he has pacemaker in heart n he is diabetic too.

Looks like dementia. Needs detailed assessment. With treatment, it is possible to slow down the progress of illness. There are few methods which can make his life easier. Dementia is also sometimes associated with psychotic symptoms. These can be managed with antipsychotics.
