Forgetfulness of my 60year old father
Hi, My father, 60years old, started forgetting things like his recent discussion with us, phone calls he made, very rarely forgets places he visited recently. Off late he has under immense stress and pressure due to harrassment at his Government office. What's causing his forgetfullness, and how can it be rectified? Please advise on the way forward.

Memory loss may be related to his stressors at work (“pseudodementia”) or can also be an early stage of dementia due to an underlying brain disorder. He should consult a neurologist and be evaluated for vitamin B12 deficiency, hypothyroidism, NPH or dementia due to other causes.
