Foot Drop condition
I was suffered from G.B.S in 2009 my body was totally dead except head I was on ventilator for 25 days. Now I'm recoverd expect foot drop, Foot drop is in my both legs I can force my feet downward but can not able to pull it upward. From my childhood my dream is to join army, it's my life's aim is only to join army. I want to consult a doctor before I go for CDS . I want to know that will I be rejected due to this? (I can do any physical activity as a normal person can do) Please give me answer.

Hi. I can only imagine what you have gone through. And I’m glad that you have recovered. The thing is for the foot drop you need to consult orthopaedic doctor as they can help you with some splints and on surgical intervention if any possible to correct the condition or can only be treated by physiotherapy. I’m no expert but I hope they may be able to help you.
