Follicular study
I am undergoing follicular study of D10 as recommended by doctor but the pathologist who is an MD in pathology did the sonography as external. Is that OK. Is follicular study suppose to be done internal only which is transvaginal or it can be done external as well . Please suggest

Ideally TVS should be done. But if TAS is done not an issue

Pathologist is not trained in ultrasonography. TVS is preferred form of scan for folliculometry…in olden days…when TVS training was not available…abdomen scan used to be done
