Focal Nephritis
Hello there, Greetings. My cousin who is a female 22 yrs old has been diagnosed yesterday with the scan report showing as well defined focal nephritis. She is having flank pain, burning sensation while peeing, no blood in urine though, also lower back pain. She has leg pain too. Bladder one side pain towards the right. Our treating Doctor is not available. Pls let me know once the antibiotics starts how long would it take to heal? Thnx n regards

It must be pyelonephritis? Usually depends on severity of infection. Usually antibiotics duration is decided on clinical improvement..no fixed schedule. Just follow your urologist advice.
