Microscopical Examination:
Smears from the FNA material show lymphoid cells in different stages of maturation along with scattered polymorphs and occasional epithelioid histiocytes.
Few small epithelioid granulomas were also noted.
Impression: GRANULOMATOUS LYMPHADENITIS
Note: Although stain for AFB is negative - other relevant investigations are still suggested to rule out / confirm tuberculosis.
