FLUEXTINE IS HABBIT FORMING OR NOT
I am taking olanex f tablet daily
(20mg fluextine and 5 mg olanzapine).
I got cured from depression. I am asymptomatic.
But my doctor is saying to take this medicine for atleast 6 months even after getting recovered.
Should I reduce the dose or continue.
Plz guide

Both the medicines are safe to take. It is rightly told to you by your psychiatris to continue Medications for 6-9 months to avoid relapse of symptoms of depression.
Next Steps

Fluoxetine is a very safe tablet so not stop the medication and yes it needs to be taken at least for 6 months
