Fluctuation in heart beat count
My dad is observing fluctuation in count of heartbeat count on single monitoring it fluctuates from low as 58 to high of 76. This happens with each hands finger while we have tested with same oximeter it doesn't happen with anyone else in the family. What could be the possible cause, do we need to get any tests done? He recovered from covid 15 days back.

Mentioned heart rate fluctuations are normal. But as his age is high, better to get evaluated with ECG once to rule out any rhythm abnormality like atrial fibrillation.
