Flu symtoms for a week and a Half
I started having a cough and a sore throat on Tuesday. I went to the doctor on Sunday as I was coughing up a bit of blood. I also was coughing up fleghm, had a runny nose and a fever. The dr said I had a small cyst on my throat and that was the reason for the blood. I was on the mend till Tuesday, however I have a temperature again, I am still coughing up flegm, my teeth hurt and my ear is very blocked and painful. The dr did not pescribe me antibiotics as It was viral.

You seem to be suffering from viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat and nose infection in this season. You seem to have suffered secondary bacterial infection and may need to take antibiotics and cough syrups along with steam inhalation for faster recovery
