Flu shot after Kawasaki treatment
Hello..my son got ivig in oct 2021 as he had Kawasaki disease..there was dilation in his right coronary artery which is now treated..all his scheduled vaccines were postponed.could anyone pls help when can flu shot be given to him ? Should we wait for 1 year?

Flu shot can be given. Any killed or subunit vaccine can be given. Live vaccine like polio, MMR and chicken pox cannot be given for 6 months.
