I need to know if I can travel with the five and a half months old baby in flight and since there will be cold in North India so what precautions do we need to take while our visit. Regards

Hello It is advisable to not fly with babies of less than 8 months old. However if the fly is urgent, Taking off and landing may be a discomfort for the baby. Kindly breastfeed the baby during taking off and landing as the sucking movements of the baby will keep ear tubes open. Also travel with medications for cough, cold and fever for your baby. Keep Syp sinarest , calpol and Ascoril Handy Regards, Dr Neha Pandey MBBS MD DNB FMUHS FISPN PediaCare Clinic MALAD WEST
