Fixed spots in the vision
I see fixed spots in my vision since last 50 days. I have consulted an opthemologist twice and got retina checked as well. I am told there is no problem with eyes. The spots have become lighter but have not gone away completely. The opthemologist has prescribed B12 capsules which I am taking daily. I also consulted a neurologist here on Practo and was told there doesn't seem to be a neurological problem either. Need advice on the diagnosis and possible treatment.

Namaste From your history and doctors advice , it looks like floaters .. you are appreciating a small black Mosquitoe moving in direction of your eye movements.. Nothing to worry as it is insignificant issue .. it will not affect your vision or retina .. inside the eye there is gel like substance which liquifies in some part , which will casted as black spot to you .. continue the medication
Next Steps
If the black spot suddenly increases to 100s or 1000s , flash of light seen , drop in vision then visit ophthalmologist immediately
Health Tips
Routine yearly checkup will suffice .. neglect your issue , nothing to worry at all

Since retina is ok, you need not worry. Sometimes dark spots do occur, but most of the times they do not cause any visual impairment . They definitely come in field of vision . Best thing is to ignore it.
Next Steps
Consult an ophthalmologist in case you have increased number of the dark spots . Get your Blood pressure and blood sugar checked.
