Sir, on may 15th 2017 absess surgery was done but everthing is healed but very small portion was not healed and pus was recurring. surgen told me that it may 50% of chances of fistula and prescribed mri for evalution>
1.my query is is it fistula

Fistula in ano is a disease preceeded by anorectal abscess and has high recurrence rates even after surgery. Your Surgeon had rightly informed you. The features which you are stating implies a fistula in ano. Do attach the MRI fistulogram report or TRUS if you have undergone. It can be effectively treated by Kshara sutra. The duration depends on the length of the tract and usually varies from 3-5 weeks. It is slightly painful technique and varies from person to person. The cost varies as per the tract.
