YES FINASTERIDE IS SAFE AND IT DOES HAVE SIDE EFFECTS TOO. While this may sound contradictory - it needs to be taken in the light of the discusion weighing pros and cons of finasteride vs its side effects. Largely, it is safe and side effects are rare.
