Fibromuscular Hyperplasia
Had history of mucus discharge and occassional blood in stool. No pains , no weight loss, having proper appetite, normal CBC values. Underwent sigmoidscopy and spotted two nodules in the lower end of rectum. Biopsy HPE report says fbromuscular Hyperplasia is noted and no evidence of malignant. Suggestive SRUS. What is fibromuscular Hyperplasia? Please advise

You have a rectal ulcer. On histopathology there is an increase in some fibrous tissue and some muscle tissue.
