How to suspect any bacterial origin of any fever without chills ? Without doing any antibody test or CBC can we roughly determine if a fever is of viral only or having some bacterial origin ? Some signs obviously are there in case URTI and LRTI and if it is associated with fever we can speculate some bacterial origin. Pulse is expected to be higher than normal in both viral and bacterial fever. Can you share some more clinical hacks for doing emperical treatment. Any help would be appreciated from senior doctors.
